I like to meet my clients in person first to discuss and refine exactly what you wish to have in a portrait. We can also discuss things on the phone if that’s easier. I have found that I can generally create a portrait with a minimum of angst if my client feels comfortable.

Usually around an hour. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

I will come onsite with a full studio. Generally each person will require 20 minutes for photography and to choose what portrait they like best. I take around 10 photos, again, sometimes more and sometimes less. If they don’t love one of them, we do more photography, refining as we go until they do love one. Then, generally within 48 hours, I return the finished images—retouched, color balanced, and cropped to your specs.
